The Italian-Israeli “5G Research and Innovation” workshop has been held yesterday at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, in which Cube Labs took part and during which its Executive Operation Manager, Dr. Ignazio Cogotti, had a speech.<\/p>\n
Technological innovations, changes and evolutions are continuously introducing new applications that greatly influence\u00a0the way humans interact, make decisions and conduct their business activities: the focus of the workshop was around active projects and available infrastructures, research activities and funding opportunities for the start-ups. Traffic from wireless devices will\u00a0account for more than 63 % of total IP traffic by 2021. These applications demand enhanced\u00a0capacity, coverage, low latency and high quality of service (QoS) from wireless as well as optical\u00a0access networks.
